Becky Jane secures suspended sentence order in a two-count blackmail case in York Crown Court. The court were satisfied that an immediate custodial sentence was not required, and community conditions could be imposed alongside a 12-months custodial sentence, suspended for 18 months.

On 22 April 2020, Matthew Terrill was arrested following an allegation that he has assaulted his partner. He had taken a combination of drugs including heroin, cocaine and “spice” (synthetic cannabinoids). He presented in an agitated state, leading to restraint being required.
