June is a dual qualified Barrister and Solicitor, who specialises in all areas of family law involving families and children including complex family disputes, international child abduction and also family law matters where there are ongoing criminal proceedings.
June was the first ever woman Solicitor to be appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2006 and remains one of a few women to achieve this accolade. June has featured in some of the most serious cases which have assisted in clarifying the legal landscape, particularly where the realms of family law and criminal law intersect such as in R (Children) [2018] EWCA Civ 198. June’s high-profile work incudes representing individuals in cases such as those involving Victoria Climbe, Damilola Taylor, the Dome robbery and Euston murder. She has sat as a Recorder since 1998 and sits in the Crown Court, Family Court and Civil Courts in the most serious of cases. June is also a qualified family mediator and children arbitrator.
June has been top ranked in leading directories and is recognised as an outstanding leading advocate. In 2021, June was a finalist for Family QC of the Year at the prestigious Family Law Awards and she is a highly experienced legal commentator for news and current affairs media outlets where audiences benefit from legal explanation or interpretation.
